Elixium is an electronic trading initiative designed and built by a group of professionals with decades of combined market knowledge in OTC derivatives, collateral and funding markets. Driven by the belief that regulatory change and the resultant disconnect in the marketplace makes an efficient peer to peer market essential, our team members share a common goal in providing real solutions for our clients' needs.
Since graduating with an honours degree in mathematics and theoretical physics, Steve has spent the last 30 years in finance, from broking complex interest rate derivatives, to designing and building quantitative analytical software and trading platforms. In 2000 he became involved in the very early days of electronic broking as European COO of ICor Brokerage, later part of Reuters. Steve has taken a central role in ensuring that Elixium becomes a state-of-the-art liquidity venue for repo.
